  • U.S. BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT, EDGE ENVIRONMENTAL, MC CLANE CANYON EA, Mesa County, Colorado. Surface and ground water section of the EA. (In Progress)
  • U.S. BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT, EDGE ENVIRONMENTAL, RED CLIFF MINE EIS, Mesa County, Colorado. Surface and ground water section of the EIS. (In Progress)
  • MOUNTAIN COAL COMPANY, WEST ELK MINE, Gunnison County, Colorado. Completed Annual Hydrologic Reports 2001-present, managed hydrologic monitoring program including temperature monitoring of surface water streams, water rights augmentation plan, and completed subsidence studies. Also assisted the mine with hydrology sections of various permit revisions.
  • BOWIE COAL COMPANY, BOWIE COAL MINE, Delta and Gunnison Counties, Colorado. Completed mine inflow evaluations for the D and B-coal seams, isotopic analyses of the mine water, monitoring well installations and testing, and organization and design of deep borehole packer testing and multiple level piezometer installations.
  • ALCOA ALUMINUM COMPANY, THREE OAKS COAL MINE EXPANSION PROJECT, San Antonio, Texas. Draft and Final surface and ground water sections of the EIS. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and ENSR managed this recently completed project which was completed on schedule and within budget.
  • SEI, U.S. BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT, AND U.S. FOREST SERVICE, BOWIE AND OXBOW COAL MINES, Delta and Gunnison Counties, Colorado. Completed ground and surface water sections of the North Fork Coal EIS resulting in the issuance of a Record of Decision in only 18 months.
  • DEI, U.S. FOREST SERVICE, AND U.S. BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT, COTTONWOOD CREEK COAL LEASE, Emery County, Utah. Surface and ground water study in support for the Cottonwood Creek Coal Lease EIS.
  • CYPRUS TWENTYMILE COAL MINE COMPANY, TWENTYMILE COAL MINE, Routt County, Colorado. Hydrogeologic study for the Eastern Mining District. Study included calculations of ground water inflow in the mine and the potential impacts of subsidence due to longwall mining operations on surface and ground water resources.
  • CYPRUS COAL COMPANY, FOIDAL CREEK COAL MINE, Routt County, Colorado. Study of the potential impacts of a longwall mining operation on surface and ground water resources, including a permit to mine under an alluvial valley floor.
  • ARCO COAL COMPANY, MT. GUNNISON MINE, Gunnison County, Colorado. Geotechnical and hydrological study with mine water inflow calculations and recommendations on how to alleviate hydrologic problems.
